All I can tell you at this time is its a watch fob.

Faded memory, but it seems from my time spent in study with Antique Roadshow, I seem to remember that things before the 20's weren't required by law to have the "made in" stamp. Perhaps that is a start to dating it. Breezy would know.

"made in" would indicate that it is subject to the McKinley Tarrif Act which started in 1891. Items brought to the US to be sold would have to show country of origin after that date. So, it could be 100 years old or fairly new. If there are other marks on it that might narrow down the date.
