Trying to ID knife

Found this at a thrift shop, looks old, writing on blade looks maybe Arabic? On both sides of blade near the tip there is a fish symbol similar to the Jesus fish on bumper stickers.

Can't tell you much, but it does look as if it is hand-forged,
and it's definitely got some age on it.

Couldn't make out the writing, so I did what I could to make
it more readable. Not sure it helped..lol

Whatever it is that's freakin nice There is a tnetter who collects knives and is very knowledgable if I remember there ID I'll let you know

It does not appear hand forged to me. The lettering and the inset areas around the words would have to be laser etched due to the details. Wich is not consistent with a hand forged blade. Still very cool blade. I would take a piece of sand paper or sharpening Stone and or a file and try sharpening it. Depending upon how easy or hard it is. Will give you an idea of the carbon content. And thus quality of it
