Trying to ID this amber depression glass bowl

Hi, this came from my grandmother when she passed 20 years ago and I never have been able to ID it. It is not in the Florence Encyclopedia of Depression Glass. I always assumed it was "depression glass" but it could earlier or later in date. I just don't know. I truly appreciate any clue to what this piece may be. Nobody else in the family wanted it but we love it and want to know what it is! Thx!
