Decided to hunt only in two tone ferrous this weekend so hit a hammered local park. I began to find nickels then a silver earring. Moved to the front of the old restrooms, or at least where they were when Cali parks had them. Nickel, nickel,Buffalo nickel, nickel, nickel, war nickel, buffalo, Rose. This is cool.I swing around the corner and get a jumpy 46 signal against iron. OK guess where the goods are and dig. 9 inches later out pops a silver dime with a wreath on the back. I am thinking barber dime so I put it in the kip and try for the trifecta. On the way to the truck I score the merc in no mans land. Thought I had a trifecta but when I got home I discovered an 1888 seated dime. Check out those crazy nickels!
