Hi Hunters, I thought I would show Ya'll these couple of points, I have brought. I rarely buy points but these were a bargain.
First the Turkeytail, its real thin.
Secondly a Lostlake, needs restoring but it was still a good buy.
These will go nicely in my next Frame I am working on.
Thankyou for lookin.

Molly. :)

I would consider Mollys point as a Lost Lake. If you would put the tangs back on it then it would be easier to see. Mollys doesn't look much different than these that I have.

Thanks for the close ups on the Lost lakes, those are fantastic Steve.
I believe it to be a Lost Lake, the guy I brought it off has been collecting for many years & knows his finds..

Thankyou for the comments, all appreciated.

Molly.

To put ppl's mind at rest, it is definetly a LostLake.

Molly. ;D

Wow Molly girl, those are nice! Even the others ones that are posted.

You all have educated me on this thread, dont know anything about arrow heads, i had no idea they had names for each one. They really are beautiful. Makes ya wonder how long it took a person to learn such an art. I guess after watching the elders do it their whole life it probably became secondary to them by the time they were probably 10 years old.

You cant help but think of the Indian who made that while you hold one in your hand, wondering how life must have been for them back then. Its almost like holding a history book except there are no words, only your imagination. I can see why you would want to collect them.

Thankyou Trish & Pinellas Man, appreciate your comments.
Thankyou to Steve to for posting those excellent Lost Lakes-Killers!!!

Hopefully I can get my hands on a serrated Perdiz next. ::)

Molly. ;D

Wow Molly, those were a good buy!! I'd almost give a "coupon" for those!! ::)
What do you think about that the broken barbs on the Lost Lake are the result of having been resharpened off like what happens on Calf Creeks down this way?
Nice points though, you did real good!!

LOL. :D It's pretty thick around where the barbs broke, so not too sure about sharpening, could be a result of that though.
Yes, I did get a Bargain ;D Thankyou my friend.
