Just watched my first episode (and last btw) of Diggers. What a horrible, and annoying show. Those two fools sure shed a good light on our hobby, great ambassadors...

If I didn't like the way they acted I would still watch it for the history and to see what they dig up. Im glad I have a detecting show to watch every week. If they weren't such characters I probably wouldn't like the show as much. If you don't like the show, fine, you don't like it but don't put something down because its not the way you do it. There is no right way or wrong way, do whats right for you...Ive never wanted to be like everyone else, I like to be myself.

So this is the future you want for all detectorists? We give everything we find to land-owners, archies and museums? What's the point of buying detectors, and spending our time digging stuff up if we get nothing in return?

So that's where the Mass. MDR got the idea we have to turn over 50 yr. old "artifacts", pfsssst!
