two buttons from yesterday

Two floral buttons i dug yesterday in the northern neck of virginia on a 2 hour hunt... lot of iron and junk in this one spot, plan on going back this Sunday and digging out a few depressions in the ground i noticed that may be a cellar hole..

Thanks DiggerVA - it is amazing how many good spots there are out in the Northern Neck of Virginia to dig civilian artifacts.. Not much Civil War sites out in the Northern Neck compared to like Fredericksburg/Stafford.. Most spots out in the Northern Neck have never seen a MD or if they have it wasn't hit hard!!! You should head up there sometime and hunt!

They said the bad weather is coming in Sunday around noon - i normally get to a spot and detect right @ sunup - so hopefully can get some time in before it hits but... the way the weather is been today it is looking doubtful.... probably end up being next weekend..

Don't you go into large forests in the northern neck and just follow all the old road-beds? there are 1000s of them...
