Hi folks. I found this two pipes today.
They were 3 feet apart. The depth was 2 and 3 inches. It is woods and I made the finds before from 1600-s in this site. They are both copper and made by rolling them. I couldn't find anything looks like those in the Internet. Hope for the help of more experienced members. Thanks in advance.

Dealing in old equipment and farm stuff, I have seen home made copper pipe. There were some guys in North Carolina that displayed an old still that had rolled copper on the drip and drains. Being found in the woods could be a clue.

A still is the first thing I thought of, but I don't think Canada had prohibition so why bother? Gary

Who needs prohibition? Portable economy, good as cash.

In my opinion, parts of a still would be neat to find, but your piece sure bare a striking resemblance to these:

The one in my hand is galvanized, but they were made in copper and aluminum also.
Not sure what it's called but they were used with a large 3/8" by 8" or so ( in your case copper ) nail
to fasten rain gutters on buildings. Not sure how long ago copper gutters started being used.

I think gutter spacers is the word you are looking for and I think you are right on the ID.

Thank you vhs07 for the help. I think you nailed it down cause I found an aluminum nail not so far from those pipes and I think it is all roofers stuff.
