I wish they would plow the fields in my area. There are still hardly fields turned here and it's getting to the point that they probably aren't going to plow them. They will more than likely just disc and plant so there goes any hunting.

Those are very nice finds Molly Im new to this forum and I haven't posted anything yet but I have seen alot of your points. I have alot of points that are very similiar to yours. What type of material is that in the second pic that shows all the nice flaking, I only have one Guilford out of that material. I will try to post some soon just haven't had the time. Congrats an keep it up.

Thankyou guys, I've been having a great time.
The material is all Rhyolite & Quartz, the green Rhyolite shows some excellent flaking, I have some beauties made of it, most are Guilfords,Savanah Rivers..Here are a few for you to see Clint.

I feel your pain Dork! We have had so much rain.Alot of farmers give up on plowing and just disced.I,m finding a few but I know if they were to plow about 12-14 inches deep instead of 2-3 I,d probably be having a better year.

Very nice finds Molly. What exactly is that in the third pick down? Is it some kind of blade? Hope you get some more.

Yes Mainer, it's an Archaic knife/blade, made from Rhyolite, I find maybe 5 blades to every point.
