INVICTUS Dig

Arrived at Ryan's and there he was; Navy Davy in his full glory! Next was Jeff in his Thunderbolt Grease Slapper Truck ready to get at her. Finally Ryan came out and we were ready to roll. Patched in Rottweiler Ryan and Jim-dandy Jeff with the Bluenose crest. ND already had his. Much to my surprise and delight ND handed me a pin pointer which I would use with pride.

Hitting the field it looked like a geriatric gathering of escapes from an old age home. Only one up to snuff was "JJ". Eventually we all faded from the event with the total between the ailing digaholics being 3 buckles, 2 toasty tokens and two modern quarters. Day was great and the company even better!

Missed the kitchen sink

Feeling frisky and free today headed out after the domestics. Must have had ants in pants as I could bring myself to stay in one place for long. Dug here and there with the outer limit winding up in Enfield. Mister man just had to treat myself to a Robin's coffee and a sticky bun. Halibut better than mushy peas me son. As one can see a real Hodge Podge of finds including an "O" which may be silver.

Once home the real fun began. Two more messages on the answering machine and two more appointments with specialists made. Lord love a duck my family doctor sure loves to refer! Of course had to phone my boss at work and give him the dates so that he does not schedule cruise days for me......oh darn. Cannot wait to get back to the job!
