The creek is rough on stuff but I'm still happy to find even these...I'm clueless to the types so if anyone could let me know what they think I would appreciate your help. Also found a couple of shards in the same general area a couple days ago so I'm very happy with that particular spot of the creek.

Nice finds :) glad you had time

2 nice finds rite there. You must be getting closer to the honey hole. The black one looks almost as if the tip might of been used as a possible drill cause it is so narrow. On the quartz its just so hard to get a good clean pic its tough for me to say. But it looks Daltonish.

I googled all evening on them and the closest I could get to what they look like was a Hardaway/Dalton drill and the quartz looked mostly like an Eva but it's a bit concave (I think that's the word) on the base so I don't know. Also, this spot has lots of other stuff too. I've found a couple quartz rocks with garnets but they're tiny. Some pink quartz and lots of what looks like gravel but thinking it's something else. I'm making a pile of them for later because alot of it looks sort of flaked. Think I will be out there later if it quits raining.

Both look like woodland triangles to me probably Badins based on the thickness of both. Nice finds!

I was looking closely at Badens too but the dark one looks almost identical to a drill pic I found. Wondering if the quartz is broke on one side of the base or if it was made that way, it's hard to tell but I'm not a flint knapper.
