Got out today for a couple of hours and poked around a school that was built in 1956. There was not much shade so the sun and heat zapped my energy pretty fast. Did find a couple of 1950 wheats (one was right on top of the ground) and a 1954 Rosie. The silver was a trashy 81-82 signal on the ATP near the old bike rack. I almost didn't dig it!

Also found a curious charm fashioned out of a 1979 quarter and then another clad quarter that had been beaten to death by a lawn mower more than once. A smattering of other clad as well.

I plan to go back there as it seemed to have not been hunted much at all...at least the small area I covered.

Nice finds! Thats crazy the rosie read up like that, they always read like quarters for me. Too bad that charm wasn't a Silver quarter!
