both worked for sure.. the larger one looks like it came from a core than might have been getting close to being used up.. and it has all primary reduction flakes.. no secondary at all... something like this would have probably been carried from the quarry site back to home and meant to be turned into whatever type of point or tool was needed when it was needed.. a blank so to speak.

Both worked for sure.Keep looking that field. I,ve walked fields as many as twenty times in a year and may not find one my second trip but wiil score on my nineteenth.The potential is there for sure.

What you've got there are flake cores. Pieces of nice material they were taking flakes off of to use as knives &c.

Hey cannonman appreciate your knowledge of lithics.I have seen some of your talent.

I agree with the experts. Nice finds and worth bringing home to post.
