Here's a few I found years ago as a teenager. Actually found both pieces about a month apart. Can't say I've found too many more that good since.

Sorry about that. Both are Ky. finds. The side notch is 3 1/2" and the blade is 4 1/2. I would love to call the blade an Agate Basin, but it lacks the polishing/grinding at the base. I have no idea on the other, I'm thinking Decataur(sp?) but it doesn't have the snapped base you so often see assosciated with them......

Both ARE outstanding finds! I would not however call the blade an Agate basin, if it were paleo in origin I would expect the base to be ground more and I would call it a scottsbluff... but, I believe it may be somewhat newer than that-

The one on the left if found here in MO. and lacks grinding. I would call a Sedalia blade. Nice finds. John

To me the one on the left looks like a nebo hill point, they are a little better made than the sedalia blades.

Very nice finds. The side notch is without a doubt a Decatur Unfractured Base. Rarer than the fractured base cousin, but not as desirable in terms of monetary value. Material is Indiana Hornstone.
The blade could be called an archaic lance. The lack of grinding takes it away from the earlier Transitional Paleo forms.
Congrats!!!!!!!!!
