This is my first post on TNET about my indian artifact hunting, but I just started last week and have found 8 points, an adze, and some some other broken stuff so far in several different fields.

Went out looking for a field to hunt and found a nice plowed field with my buddy. We got permission, only after being told that the guy's grandson had already hunted it with a local University Professor / Archaeologist. We were still optimistic about searching it. I brought my camera with me to take insitus, but I honestly didn't think either of the two points I found were arrowheads. All I could see was a bit of flint on each and flipped the dirt over and there they were. My buddy also got a nice bird point as well. Does anyone have a name for what's on the top left? Do you think it was a bigger point, then got broken and reworked?

The other thing at the bottom seemed a bit too nice for just a normal rock. Is it anything? It almost looks like it was worked, but it's not flint like everything else we are finding here. If it's just a rock, my heart won't be broken, haha, be honest.

Frist of all Welcome! There isn't a better place to share your finds I've seen. Second, nice finds I really like the bird point. I would have to say the bigger piece is a knife or scraper of some sort, either way it's definatly worked. good luck out there.
