That’s my 2nd red whole point I’ve ever found
 

I think it’s a Benton maybe not this same one cause the edges aren’t beveled but still a Benton type. Same age

Yes it was raining here too. Started when I was about a 1/2 mile out so I just stayed. I have to admit it was a little cold in the 50s and the rain was cold.
 

Yes. So you think it originally was a blade and then repurposed or made that way from start
Probably a bigger knife then after resharping it got down to the size I found and turned into more of a tool. I have one I found last year out there without the base and probably used in the same manner. Most of the points and knives I find are almost to the very end of the use.
I did find some other things that I didn’t post. Found another Wade preform blade with some damage. Still nice to find. And a few other things lol.
