I found two rare Indiana Civil War State Badges at one of the 1863 camps near Shelbyville Tennessee. These were sold by sutlers in the Western theater of the war per reference books. I found most of the bullets with a Minelab Etrac. I switched to the Minelab Equinox, went back over the same ground, and found the two badges five feet apart from each other. These are the first state badges I have found in 22 years of detecting.
