A year ago I was blessed to recover a USA pewter rev war button , fast forward to a month ago. I returned to the same site, as it is a beautiful area, and I didnt have a lot of time. Hit the same site, and just as I was leaving out popped this awesome flintlock pistol barrel. I have done some research and am 99% sure it is French 1750 - 1770, and was almost certainly also the possession of the soldier who wore the button. This is why we dig!
