Drove 2 hours out to the west coast, hunted in the water all day then a 3 hour drive back. Long day but worth it. Small silver ring marked MASHA sterling, 2nd ring with dragons marked MFA .925 sterling. Encrusted item reminds me of the branding around a fine cigar, has tiny broken steel straps on the back coming out of each side. Most areas of the water were clean but some spots were pea soup with algae. There was one other water hunter out there diving with a snorkel and what looked like a AQ1B. Under the water were areas with rocks and places where pipes ran out to sea.Where the water was clear you could work around the rocks but when the algae came in and covered these areas you could stumble. Some places had soft sand and others shell and rock. Large sand bars go way out. Good facilities, clean rest rooms and snack bar open until 5pm. Safe free parking. I'm not saying where this was, so everyone please don't rush out here
