I found trimes before, but have you ever heard two in one day? To bad I broke one thought. Both 1851

Nice. They minted a ton of the early trimes(1851-3) but finding two in one day aint happening for most. Finding one ever is an accomplishment

Deus, 4.1v, with 11' coil. One of the trimes was deep, around 8" to 9".

Excellent hunt mate. Two trimes in one hunt is just not "normal". Too bad one got fractured. I fortunately swept my only trime from a curb construction sight just barely covered with dust. Excellent buttons and Marine pin too.

Trimes are a blast to find. The planchets they’re made from unfortunately makes that susceptible to breaking instead of bending, and flaking. Great finds
