Nice, I've only found 1 V and 4 IH's in my 2 years...I really need to expand my area.

Those really look great. The ground that those were in treated them gently.

I can see why so many people enjoy digging Indian heads, I just wish mine came out that nice. I've found 27 but only 2-3 are in nice shape

Nice finds & nice coins ..what type of site did you get them at ? enjoy hunting before old man winter sets in..

It use to be a small amusement park that was torn down around 1910 or 1920 when the main hotel burned down a second time. Now it's just a wooded part of a park.

Nice finds!! I don't dig many nickels, but finding a V is always cool cuz they'll usually have pretty clear dates. Congrats!

Sweet finds, :icon_thumleft: I have yet to find either.. just have to keep trying

This is how I clean mine now, take a look at the YouTube video and try it out on yours.

I like the results but your coins are coming from much better soil conditions to begin with. I've recently found eleven Indians at a church under a massive tree with roots everywhere. I'm guessing the chemicals in the tree roots sped up the corrosion. At other sites I have found crusty indians very near to nice ones. Who knows?

Check out this vid on cleaning copper coins. It's where I learned to clean mine.

Congrats on pulling those 4 nice coins. I have yet to find a V-nickle.
