Tyre Track Finds...UPDATE

[CRUSADER]

Dad came up with a plan to try some tyre tracks on an oilseed rape field. Turned out to be a good plan
We also managed some small areas where the birds had eaten the crop.

16 grotty Roman Bronze Coins & 1 blank Silver Denarius.
Nice acorn terminal Medieval Strapend
Rose & Royal Farthing
2 Lead Tokens
17th Century Token
Jetton
Bits..

My favourite find of the day was a 18th C hand painted ceramic cufflink. Never had one quite like it until now (shame its a little damaged )

UPDATE:

After Hispans suggestion of Nelson, it got me thinking about who it might represent I have discounted Nelson & after contacting an Army Museum, I have discounted Wellington. Although they agreed its a late 18th C image

Some real nice coins, buttons and relics there, but that cuff link takes the cake

Well, only the wealthy Military ones. Note mine has a badge on his chest, normally reversed for those that were reconised by the King/Queen for outstanding duty. (Nelson & Wellington both had these badges, so someone of note)
