I found what seems to be a U.S. civil war era belt buckle from an old homesite. The pieces were recovered from the same area. The brass pieces are "skin", without a lead backing. The arrowhead style hook retains some lead. I'm speculating that the buckle is a "baby buckle', but I'm sure others will have a better idea. I would like to get it restored to one piece if possible. I would appreciate the names of people that could restore the piece of history. Thanks!
