Finally got a point from my new site. Very crude but with the size I’m thinking arrowhead over a preform, I don’t really see a benefit of shaping something that small to finish later. Still nice to get a whole tool been working my sites hard for a bag full of flakes this last month or so. Also the first real hint of a timeframe of the new site which is nice.

Here’s all the flakes I had to pick for one point. I am getting a good idea of the material they were using. The odd thing is the lack of local chert I find in big quantities in other spots. It seems they liked the good stuff

Cool, I get lots of triangles I don’t think I’ve got a tear drop yet. Been itching to get an idea of the age of the site, now I need to find more points to confirm.
