This says series of 1928...5 dollar bill with Lincoln.....is it fake? Friend if mine asked me to ask the pros :)

This is a red seal five dollar bill. From the info I can find they are worth about $7 in circulated condition, like this one.

I have never seen a lincoln 5 let alone one from 1928 thats in great condition. I am not up on paper currency

I use plastic lol 1928 in that condition thru me off...i swear i had a blonde moment

You have a 1928 Series C United States Note with the signatures of Julian and Morgenthau.
214,735,765 were printed. Yours has seen better days so the premium value will be minimal.

red seal....united states note

brown seal....national currency note

blue seal...silver certificate

gold seal...gold certificate

green seal...federal reserve note (and some old gold certs.)

all of these small size 20th century currencies had a similar look...(portraits) and reverses but sere issued under different "authorities"
