So today I was cleaning up some of the damage from the porch fire. And I couldn't help but get under there and scratch around. That's when this Henry k. Wampole bottle popped up. Anyone know anything about this bottle? Is it a beer bottle? I have found other Wampole bottles but they were all clear and abm . This is the first one Ive seen. Thanks for looking-Justin

I've done a little bit of research on this man and company and found some interesting reading. I've even seen 2 other 2-3 other bottles identical to yours and they were referred to as beers and malt ale. Nowhere in my readings do i see a mention of henry k wampole bottling beer. That doesn't mean that he didn't bottle beer but i can't find proof that he did. Its a bit strange. If this bottle was from the 1880's maybe this is before the shape was associated with beer and contained one of his products. I don't have an answer for you but i'll keep looking. Good luck

He bottled a lot of different medicines so i suppose there's a possibility he had his own line of beer as well
