~~ UNDER THE SIDEWALK'S ~~

The city has been stripping out old sidewalks around town,sooo we checked the dirt, before they layed new concrete,

My brother scored a walker and a 45,micro-s merc, I dug a 53 washington and a 47-d rosie,and as you can see various other goodies.

A pretty cool old abe mining co token, a couple of old check boy good for tokens1901-02-07 I.H.s, Chinese coins,, all coins were dug with railroad spikes everywhere and cinders!!!!, the sidewalk intersected an old railbed, so there was plenty of iron everywhere, these tesoro's punch right thru that stuff, I ran a vaquero and my brother runs a cibola, So I do belive that tesoro's will find stuff with iron in the hole just like all the "BIGBOY DETECTORS" ,its just where you swing your coil!!!!!,,and research.

Great finds.....and great persistence. And, sounds like a great detector, too.
I hunt in S. Korea, and have never seen any torn up sidewalks that I thought would
produce historical finds......but maybe need to check it out.
ALSO.....if you need help in i.d.ing any of the Chinese coins......here in S. Korea, I find Chinese/Japanese coins
on almost every hunt that I do. So, I have been i.d.ing Chinese coins for 25 or so years. Be glad to do it for you.

are cheap. Just like any coins, most are.....but there are some that are very collectible, and valuable.

Super glue really works well on keeping the pieces together.

great finds ! I recently found a side walk that was torn up and what a great place to hunt. I have used my tesoro cibola for two years now and they have no problem finding good finds with iron in the same hole or right next to it. What a great machine for the price. Put a smaller head on these machines and then you can get even closer to the iron and pick out the stuff no other machine can get!
