Underwater leases

I just saw two nice charts with leases from north of canaveral to jupiter. I went to the St Lucie County museum in Fort Pierce and they had a room with 1715 artifacts on loan from the state. I wish they had chart replicas for sale in the gift shop.On an unrelated note, it showed the naval amphibious training base just south of Fort Pierce inlet. It occupied the entre north end of the island. The UDT training was north of the inlet. I had no idea that the military had such a huge presence during WWII.

We use to find hundreds of shell casings on and around the "Nieves site".

It's the strangest thing - whenever I go out on the boat, my Wedding ring falls off into the water. So, i get my gear and detector and in the water I go. I really don't care if any official tries to question me. No one, can stop me from retrieving my ring...............:skullflag:

So tired of Ridiculous laws - - - The only way to beat the corrupt, is to learn how to play the game.

Until they search your boat and find you with stolen articles. How is it corrupt to hold shipwreck salvage rights?

Shipwreck salvage rights are a joke. What gives one company the right to have exclusivity of miles and miles of seafloor bottom? You find a wreck, its yours, you leave it, you leave the door open for somebody else to work it. Just like the old days of wreckers. The entire lease program is a joke, how often do you actually get state or federal approval? I understand leasing the area of the wreck but come on, not the entire seafloor bed! Look at what our government (local all the way to the federal level) has done with the money, the opportunity and the recovered artifacts themselves. Tallahassee is the perfect example, lets open up the archives and see what they have. Another example, Cape Canaveral National Seashore, the fact that there is so much history on that coast and it cant be worked is a crime against the people of this country. Until we get government bureaucracy out of the way, whats wrong with being a pirate? The founding fathers of this country were exactly that!

Im getting a lease for my fishing hole. Lake Atlantic is off limits if you want to fish u have to go through me. Arrrrrrr

They are not hired. It's their job to stop people from looting. Almost all of the beach from the power plant in ft pierce to bonsteel park in Sebastian are leased to Queens Jewels 1715, Brent Brisben is who you would contact. The information is on his website.

Police officers know who is supposed to be on the leases. Also, it's pretty easy to spot someone metal detecting from a boat. Really easy. They usually do safety stops and check for wildlife violations. However, they will arrest on site people illegally salvaging in a leased area, or any area for that matter without the proper paperwork.

It's easy to become an investor on one of the boats already working, but you can put your own operation together as well. It's hardwork because most treasure is found using propwash deflectors not just blindly roaming reefs. It seems easy, but it's not at all. In fact it's very dangerous and people can die.

Happy hunting.

Diverjon, what beach were you off of?I have charts from the state of florida that show where all the boundries are for all the leases on the east coast.

You are lucky to get off with just a warning from the water cop.he could have arrested you and whoever was with you and impounded your boat, trailer and all your gear including your truck and a warrant could be had to search your house and whatever other property you own or rent. You can be charged with theft from the state, leaseholders and for disturbing the bottom.Companies that own leases and the state of florida dont take to kndly to people that break the law.Ignorance of the treasure laws is no excuse.

I had a lease holder map for near Douglas Beach. I refuse to give it out because a very privileged document, maybe considered maritime top secret. For security reasons my lease copy does not have gps coords on corners. Map is still in my old laptop. Grid lines, where cannons found, piles silver and some gold collected around cannons location. From middle to shoreline salvage crews hit the site hard. The middle to back side at 15 ft depth might be hiding a few piles or large gold maybe even chests.

Do you have charts of lease holders of treasure coast?
I think a place called Queens Jewels holds most of the leases. The people rent the leases from them. Not sure, I've never done it.
But Queens jewels would have the bulk of the leases. I believe they bought it off Mel Fishers family.

Queens Jewels owns the leases from the power plant at Ft Pierce to Bonsteel Park in Sebastian..

I was scuba hunting a couple of days ago. I was down for a about 30 minutes can back up and police sheriff boat was parked up to mine. He told me someone had least this whole area and was trying to find a shipwreck. He also told me I had to go about 5 miles either way to get out of the least which I think was bs which is why I'm posting this. Does anyone knows where I could find a list of underwater leases in the east coast of Florida down to the keys so I well not get pulled again. Thanks
You should talk to me I have a lot of information for you as well as a newly discovered 1715 treasure shipwreck that has not been salvaged
