Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I was down MDing the river bank and got a slamming 89 on the AT Pro.
I dug this fishing lure and thought nothing of it and threw it in the bag.
I got home and was cleaning it off and noticed words on it.
Scrubbing at it finally displayed "DEL-REY WOBBLER".
Immediately looking it up I found it to be made by HJ Frost out of Florida's circa 1925.
Earlier versions made in 1915.
I am not sure if I have the earlier version but regardless, I am very happy with this relic.

Very nice Old lure!! Congrats on the find!!

Very cool! :icon_thumleft: I'd probably use it. I love fishing!

That one looks like it could be deadly for the stripped bass in my local waterways. My favorite lure is of similar vintage and still made today

This is a good fish story! Congrats.

That is a nice old lure. Put some treble hooks on that baby and cast away !

I wish now that I had kept every good looking lure I've found over the years detecting, they all would have made a pretty nice display together.

Finding a fishing lure while dirt fishing is not that common. Congratulations

I like lures very much and this one is a very nice one! Cool find

Those old lures are very collectible Thats a great piece
