unfinished?

This yellow jasper piece is definitely worked but for what? to me it looks like it was roughed out and abandoned before it got too far along. The shape, size and material is right and you can see the edge work along one side...it even has a point and a flat base. The back is flat and smooth. Anyone want to chime in?

I have a few gravers in that form. Does it look like the pointy end was put there purposely?
 

yes it does...so you think it is a finished piece?
 

All I have looked at this with is my phone, so I don’t have the best view. But I do have A few similar pieces that are definitely finished.

in my opinion - not completed work.
 

the extreme left is a possibly incomplete job.
I propose this option of completion.

thanks for your opinion! But there’s not much left of most of them to make anything else out of.
The one you suspect incomplete has to much bend to make what you propose.
