Lightning is flashing all over my hunt areas today. Not planning on getting melted to my detector today. Was going through some of my dug stuff. Thought I would share some Civil War era buttons and an 1862 indian (Pic #1) that I recovered in the same plot on a field hunt here last fall. The one button separated during cleaning and the inside of it was in nice shape (Pic # 2).

Happy Hunting Folks !

I got one of those fat Indians on my want list for this summer. Cool digs.

Your general service button looks like the one I found but mine didnt have the back on it....dug it here in Arkansas near my house...do you know how much one like it is worth???..I was told $50 but I am not sure...without the back to identify the maker of the button, I cant be sure who it is....way to go on finding 2 of them ....thanks and happy hunting
