I picked this up for $20. at a small town ts. It was made and signed by an unknown maker to me so far studio jeweler most likely. The turquoise cabochon looks to be at my best research a Morenci turquoise with its matrix of pyrite. It's also strung with little faceted turquoise and what looks like tiger eye beads, spaced with little silver dragonflies. The little silver frog on a lilly looking at a small 18k gold pearl is scratch marked 925 750 on the back with the makers mark and the back of the main turquoise mount is etched 925 with again the makers mark. I'm not so sure it's a NA piece, but it could be? It was well worth the price I thought not to pass up on and the more I look at it the more interesting it becomes.

That is a super interesting find my friend, I would think worth much more than $20!

Very unusual piece. I can tell you that the cabochon is just composite turquoise. It’s called Blue Mojave. Unlikely Native American.

Yeah I thought that this turquoise stone looked a bit irregular and strange. I was gonna run it by a customer of mine as they're all rock hounds. They buy mining equipment and supplies from us. I just a few weeks ago dropped off some drills we went through at their warehouse where they keep all the mineral specimens. They mine this Rhodochrosite specimens and sell the good crystals for a whole lot of money. All they do is seek and supply collectors around the world and some of the specimens they have are priced in the 15 to 30 thousand dollor range, for the serious collectors who have the cash to add some of the more rare and beautiful specimens to their collection.
