Couldn't find Wm. Sorgett listed as a saloon. There is a listing for Sorgatt & Mielke as a hotel in Hawks in 1905, and Wm. Sorget is listed in Hawks in 1907 & 1911 as lumber. Your token is very likely the same man. This is the first trade token known from Hawks.

Think that age range would fit with the token? My token knowledge is fairly shallow.

Im in shallow water here, too. There is what appears to be a son with the same name. I tried to research historical society for that area. If you're in that area, maybe a visit to the historical museum would help.?

Did you look on the huge Token site on the net - it lists Tokens by their State of origin.
It used to be called - "Richards Token Data Base".
