Unscientific observation – chipmunks do not trust turtles… *L*

this chipmunk showed up out back one day this summer. We placed some bird seed in a shell and he would eat some every morning. Then we placed a plastic turtle close to the shell with food. He would look at shell but did not trust the turtle. *L*

Can't say as I blame him. I wouldn't feel comfortable if I was eating out of a plate and then I turned and there sat a plate with legs and a head staring at me
