a cheap $75.00 ebay one
hello i bought this off ebay and wanted to share plus not sure exactly where its from any help would be great .
i only paid 2.50 us for it shipped so cheap enough .

also its basicly the size of a us quarter

he though maybe holland i tryed looking it up and looks more from spain due the lion on crest but maybe netherlands lol
please help if you can

Hmmmmm ::), This is just my thinking out loud but that looks like a provincial arms countermark from the Netherlands. See the second coin from the left? That design looks very similar to me. But who knows. :-\

The Lion in the shield is a mark from the Netherlands. Look at some coins from the Zeeland Province as they have coins of the lion with no sword and no water waves beneath. They run through the middle. The "D" beside the shield indicates something about the coin. Don't know what but if it were a "S" it would mean the demonination was a stuiver.

The duit was a Dutch coin worth 2 penning, with 8 duit equal to one stuiver and 160 duit equal to one gulden. Heres a better pic.
