I've checked a few old bottle websites, but have been unable to locate one shaped like this. It is 9" tall and has "no deposit * no return", and "not to be refilled" in raised letters along the base. The bottom has what looks like the letter "Z" inside of a square. Seam up both sides.I have two of them and the other one has the "Z" on the bottom, and also the number "20" opposite it. Also some wording that I cannot make out what it says. I appreciate any help you can give me.

looks like a recent beer bottle ,not that old....

I know this bottle - Michelob beer~!

Bottled Michelob was originally sold in a uniquely shaped bottle named the teardrop bottle because it resembled a water droplet. The teardrop bottle was awarded a medal from the Institute of Design in 1962. Five years later the bottle was redesigned for efficiency in the production line. This bottle was used until 2002 when it was dropped in favor of a traditional bottle. The teardrop bottle was used again from January 2007 to October 2008.

"Vintage Michelob bottles"

Crazy - I destroyed dozens of these making candles using the bottle as a mold -

I knew that bottle instantly back in the 80's I drank more Michelob than should have been allowed but to me it was the best beer on the market

Looks to me like an old Michelob bottle.
