Unusual find whether natural or not. Axe, effigy?

Got another chance to search my friends property. I found this peculiar rock at which at first thought possibly an axe. As I inspected closer I started to see the shape of a moose or deer. High on what I view as the forehead there is a rounded out portion where an eye would be and I can clearly see a mouth. I have read that Ohlone Indians would attach stone effigies to sticks. Either way I think is worth a look.

I can't see the pic that well when zoomed in. But I do see what your saying and would have to say its just a cool rock. Maybe take some shots up close?

I don't see any evidence of it ever being altered by man so it is more than likely just a naturally formed stone.

Chunk of limestone is what Im seeing. Limestone will take a shape of a artifact but its a natural thing of mother nature doesnt look altered.
