Found this odd looking figurine at the beach the other day. It was after the storms.

I put a dime for size reference.

Any ideas? I am thinking it looks oriental!

Looks a bit like De Lee art pottery. There are several different potteries that had the same look.

[One mans trash...]

Here's the undivided planter to show what it looked like whole. The person who had this one isn't quite sure what it depicts, either. They're calling it a pan. Nor do they know who made it, but there is an "R" mark on the bottom of theirs. There are a lot of planters of this theme of elf and stump. In most, it's more clearly an elf and less demented looking.

Found some more information. This pixie elf is made in Japan. It is vintage.
