I bought this medal at a local auction and don’t know anything about it. It has some damage so don’t know if that means it’s a reproduction or if the metal used in Occupied Japan was cheap and flimsy.

The "Made In Occupied Japan" means it was produced between Sept 45 and Apr 52.

No official military medals or awards were marked this way. Most if not all Iron Cross or Maltese Cross medals with Crossed Swords the swords are orientated with the points facing up, versus down like these do. I for the life of me cannot figure out what medal or award they are trying to represent here.

With all that said it might just be a "Fantasy" piece, that they took elements from different awards to make.

Oh and as side note I can't figure out what company the "Diamond/Gem/Shield T" represents. If you can figure what company it is, you might be able to narrow down more about this piece.

Also do you know what it's made out of? Does it feel solid/heavy or light/flimsy?
