Thanks for the input from everyone! The way the smaller rock was very smooth and than the top of the larger stone sloped down with a smooth surface. It was found about 100 yards from where I found a small Indian sitting area with rock campfire. I will post pictures in a new thread with a fossilized animal bone of some sort.Hello,

Thanks Rush! That is very informative. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me!Its what is called a rip-up clast caused by turbulent/erosive current flow over clays or mud. The currents literally rip up or pluck coherent pieces of the sea bed and transport them down-slope. Very common at the base of turbidites.
