Went to a private estate sale earlier today. They're usually junk around here, but this one was definitely different. Besides a few sterling and nice glass pieces was this medal. I believe its silver, not sure what purity, nor have I tested it yet. Doing a text search didn't produce anything. It is weighted and measures about 1 3/4" diameter. There looks like a hallmark on the edge "DAC", not sure what it is. I couldn't find any other markings on it. Does anyone know what it is? Any help is appreciated.

Using a translator, it would appear to be a Cambodian National School championship medal for the 100 meter backstroke. Cambodia was a French protectorate back then.

Really interesting find and a beautiful medal.

Tag that one for the Most Interesting Hall of Fame.

thanks everyone for the help identifying it.
