Found the stirrup yesterday.....needless to say I was very excited....the site just keeps on giving! I am sure that there is much more to come.

Nice finds for sure. I found a very similar stirrup last year except the center bar at the base of it was twisted. How about a close up of the coins (front and back). Here's a pic of the stirrup I found.

Not yet on the stirrup or anything on the rest except for the Capped Dime has ever crossed my path.......Need any Help Sweet Dig's DB.....Gotta love It!!!!

The stirrup was about 3.5" down ....and the ground was very hard and sort of rocky. I found it about 8 feet from the spur. The sig. was so strong I just assumed it was trash.....however, I don't like to assume....know what I mean?
