I haven't posted on here in some time so I figured I'd post an update on my finds from my Folsom/Midland site in western ND. For now I'm just going to post a picture of the "points" frame I have filled up from the site. Everything is either finished Folsom fragments, preform fragments, Midland points and bases and channel flake fragments. I'll post more in-depth pictures later. 20201108_215733.webp20201101_191357.webp

are you digging? how deep and wide an area? tell us more about the site?

Great finds, maybe you'll be able to match some of the brokes up.

Within the last few years there has been a report of what they think is a longer-term Folsom habitation site.

But their survival strategy is still jokingly summarized as
1) Find bison
2) Kill bison
3) Eat bison
4) Repeat

That having been the case, you would expect to find pretty much everything, anywhere (everywhere).

FWIW

Tundra Plugger - I should also mention if your truck every breaks down or your running low on gas please let me know - I’d be happy to drive you out to this spot. I’m only about 1,200 miles away and could be there in 18 hours.....
