Upgrading question

I am thinking of upgrading to a Whites XLT soon and just wanted to get some thoughts on this. I have an ACE 250 and its is my first detector and I have had it for about 2 years now. Is there a large learning curve here and maybe I should be lookin at another detector? I am still fairly new to this, so any thoughts or comments sure would help.

The XLT has basic settings that are easy to use. With these settings their won't be much of a learning curve. If you want to get creative, then it gets more complicated.

You'll be gaining much more detector - well worth moving up in my opinion.
