I rarely find anything good at cellar holes!

Gridwalker306 · Apr 9, 2013

That is a very nice cellar hole! Great finds, I like the sharp large cent...

dieselram94 · Apr 9, 2013

Nice finds for sure! Hey we all get our balls busted sometimes, just ask my wife! She busts mine all the time! :laughing7:

dieselram94 · Apr 9, 2013

It's amazing to see how straight the walls still are.

Nice finds, Dutch. I'm new as well... What part of NY? I'm over in the Finger Lakes.

63bkpkr · Apr 9, 2013

dutchtoga, you done gotcha a good spot there at least I'd say that from what you posted. Someone did a beautiful job of stacking those rocks for the cellar walls, detect them too once you have the time, IMO. They look to be ~ 5' tall. Is the fork sterling? Enjoyed the pictures................63bkpkr

PS - Welcome to Tnet

Great finds !! I usually dont have much luck at cellar holes either. That token is a Wall Street Hard Times token. Check this link ----- > The Arlington Collection - 1837 Hard Times Token HT-293

A few more photos. I only get a short time to visit this place in the spring and in the fall before hunting season. It's a mile and a half drive from off the main road and then a 20min. walk. It's a good time in the woods.
