Uranium Ore

Found this old mine so I grabbed a few buckets of tailings to crush and run in the sluice. Now that I’ve washed um I’m thinkin it might be Uranium Ore?





It breaks up real easy and is chalky and pretty green. The mine has to be pre New Mexico statehood cause it’s not marked. What is this ****?

I'll try tomorrow at work. My partner called a local geological engineer he knows and she said all the uranium around here is really yellow and that she knows the mine and its iron pyrite and was either a Gold or Silver mine and that its mined out. Told him about some better spots to try where there is gold for sure.
