Found this yesterday. I think it's US Navy but I haven't been able to find any examples of it online. Any ideas?

Great find! You have a 1920's - 1930's Coast Guard cap badge. Is in marked anywhere? Some were sterling.

Holy macaroni! I thought it was just some modern junk!
It doesn't have any markings but the back of the anchor is tarnished with black so it might be silver under the gilding.
In either case I am very happy with it. Thank you so much for your insight!
