V3i strikes first silver !

I had a good hunt using my Spectra,, I'm still figuring out the factory presets and tuned in deep silver ,, it payed off hitting three silver pieces , two merc dimes, and one Jesus sterling charm.. The Jesus charm was the first piece I dug up ,, I went down by the lake and washed it off and showed my dad.. My dad looks at it and said " it looks like you found Jesus ! " We laughed ,, I said no I've had Jesus.. I wouldn't have wanted my fist silver piece to be of anything else ! I went back and hit two more silver dimes a 43, and 40 in the same area.. The pennies are caked up with green crust , a little play ring, and a few other pieces,, it was a good hunt.. I've been reading the book and watching video's looking to learn how to tweak the unit.. So far I'm very happy with the performance of the V3i on the factory presets but I'm sure as I learn it will pay off , thanks for viewing and Happy Hunting !

I remember when i found my first silver with my v3i its a cool feeling
And there are a cupple tricks to turn that v up and you will set the ground on
cograts on your silver find!! Way to go!

you'll love it! once you learn it... and there will be no going back! I'm more of a coin hunter so I got the 950 coil... its less noisy also the pin point is dead on! Either way its a great machine... congratz on your first of many silvers!
