A friend and I have been hitting a very old farm for about a couple of months now. We have found lot's and lot's of bullets along with just tons of iron (maybe not tons). But this past Sunday was a great day even if we did detect in the puring rain and cold. I dug a few odds and ins along with the three ring bullets. On the notable side I did recover a nice Eagle button in very good condition only about 6 in down. On the reverse it is marked "Waterbury Button Co". My friend dug a very nice lrg one cent and a wonderful 1773 VA halfpenny. Even tho the finds are getting fewer, I think now the deeper things are starting to ping. Who knows, maybe there's a cannon waiting to be free from the soil of the past. Sorry I couldn't get the camera to really pick up the dates, but after a few tries these are the best of the pics.
