hello
I just bought my first metal detector while on vacation in clearwater Fla
my partner and I purecheased a whites coinmaster
we love the fun we had looking for things on the beach, we found nothing but still enjoyed the day

Welcome BMJ! The Coinmaster is a good land machine, i have one as well. On the beach you'll have to stick to the dry sand as I'm sure you already found out. That being when at the beach hit the towel line and have a ball. Do your research (depending on what type of detecting interests you) and have fun with it back in the dirt too.

Florida has been passing strange laws, would just check with the local police about the laws on detecting but wouldnt give them any idea of where your going to be unless you want company.
